Brandi Hague, OTD, OTR/L
Brandi Hague, OTD, OTR/L, is a pediatric occupational therapist with seven years of experience helping children build the skills they need to learn, play, participate, and thrive. She received her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Gannon University in 2019, and her post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy in 2023.
Throughout her career, Brandi has worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including outpatient clinics, brick-and-mortar schools, cyber schools, and providing home bound services. These diverse experiences have given her a well-rounded understanding of the many factors that can impact a child’s ability to participate successfully in everyday activities.
Brandi takes a family and child-centered, evidence-based approach to occupational therapy, focusing on each child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. She believes therapy should be meaningful, engaging, fun, and connected to the activities that matter most to children and their families.
In 2023, Brandi used her occupational therapy expertise and took her first step into entrepreneurship by creating Happy Writers, a handwriting tutoring company dedicated to helping children develop handwriting skills. Since then, she has been helping children in the local area improving their skills and confidence with handwriting!
Brandi’s experience with Happy Writers sparked her interest in creating accessible, family-centered services that support children beyond the traditional occupational therapy setting.
In 2026, Bright Foundations Pediatric Therapy became official. Now, Brandi continues growing with Happy Writers while also building Bright Foundations with a vision of providing family-centered, meaningful occupational therapy services that help children develop the skills the need to participate in meaningful activities.
